Tiles

Tiles are one of the popular features in Quikshort. It let’s you create shortcuts as custom tiles in Android’s quick settings panel.

Creating tiles follows same process for all android devices but devices which are running Android 13 or higher will have one advantage. From Android 13, there is a support for automatically adding a tile to quick settings, so users who are running Android 13 or higher don’t need to follow manual process for adding a tile to quick settings.

Types of Quikshort Tiles

There are two types of tiles in Quikshort.

Active Tiles

Tiles which are enabled and ready to be added or already added in quick settings.

There can be up to 15 tiles created. Quikshort Pro allows 32 active tiles.

Inactive Tiles

Tiles which are disabled and cannot be added in quick settings. Inactive tiles can be any number.

Mostly used to save a tile when active tiles are full, so that can be enabled later when there’s space available.

If you are interested in tiles customization, you can find its documentation here.
